STRATEGY

We were engaged by an international haulage business to facilitate a review of their strategy and 5 year plan. As experienced by many businesses, the management team were guilty of spending all their time working in the business, rather than on the business. They were ready to address that problem however

This included two weekend days so that the board were not distracted, with a focus on results, investment/investment plans, a swat analysis, structure, people, culture and weather the website reflected the message the company wanted to deliver.

It is amazing what can be achieved when focused and challenged, and how quickly the Board were able to align their thinking and agree on a way forward. As a by product of the project we also completely provided a new website and presented a fresh and relevant story ,copy written, that made it quick and easy to tweak rather than starting from scratch

LOGISTICS

We are currently working on a number of Logistics Projects

Matching haulage with demand, and demand with haulage.

Bulk Improvement Plans, reviewing current activity and process, to identify efficiencies and productivity improvements to enhance service levels and reduce cost.

IT implementations, process mapping to establish a specification that can be matched to the best software solution. The objective is to reduce cost, reduce paper, improve the speed of communication, improve compliance and time to invoice. The target is that no driver, fitter or member of the traffic office should be working on paper any longer

Culture - improving driver and staff engagement and reducing the inherent risks involved in transport

Insurance - review of claims history, investigation quality and driver management.

Management Support and UK representation

Support

Support is provided from Non Exec Director, attendance at Board Meetings through to individual Management Coaching and Mentoring.

Individual projects are taken on to free up and leverage management time, or where there is a knowledge gap. 

Representation 

We represent companies that do not have a full UK presence in a number of ways 

Sales Support - Customer and Prospect visits and Account Management ( including incident and complaint review)

Supplier Engagement - Meets, Tender Management, Rate Benchmarking, Performance and Incident Review

A UK office address, meeting space, or hot desk is provided where required.

Advice on regulation and compliance is also available
